Corporate insurance premiums accelerate in Poland during Q2 2026
Corporate insurance premiums in Poland saw an acceleration in the second quarter of 2026. Following a weak first quarter, the sector's growth rate reached 107% compared to the same period in 2025.
According to Warta, growth in the Fire & Property segment rose by 5% in the first half of the year, with momentum increasing from 104% in Q1 to 106% in Q2. This growth occurred despite downward pressure on rates, driven primarily by new investments and updated insurance sums. Liability insurance (OC) also saw a 5% increase in the first half, with Q2 dynamics reaching 107%.
The motor corporate segment recorded a 102% growth rate for the first half, with Q2 showing a significant improvement to 105% after two quarters of decline. However, profitability remains a concern; the technical margin for motor insurance, including both AC and OC for individual and corporate clients, was only 0.9% in the first half of the year.
