Corporate leaders integrate ESG and circular economy into business strategy
Corporate leaders from major companies including iFood, Natura, Itaú, and Grupo Boticário are emphasizing the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria into core business strategies. Experts note that true sustainability maturity is demonstrated when social and environmental issues are translated into business language—specifically as risks, investments, and value generation—rather than being treated as isolated projects.
At Climate Week in New York, Grupo Boticário highlighted its transition from environmental promises to execution. The company showcased its circular economy model through the ‘Boti Recicla’ program, which operates over 4,000 collection points in Brazil and ten stores in Portugal. This initiative collects post-consumer packaging to be repurposed into new packaging or store infrastructure. The company also integrates nature conservation through its dedicated foundation to build long-term business resilience.
