Corridor Vc Doboj Jug – Medakovo highway construction infrastructure project Bosnia and Herzegovina

JP Autoceste Federacije BiH has marked the completion of the Doboj Jug – Medakovo sub-section, a seven-kilometer segment of the Corridor Vc highway project. The project aims to improve connectivity between the northern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the rest of the national highway network.

The new section includes five bridges, the Hrastik tunnel, the Usora and Medakovo interchanges, and toll stations at Doboj Jug and Medakovo. Additionally, a 3.5 km portion of the newly constructed M4 main road, featuring three roundabouts, has been opened to traffic. The total value of the works for this section was approximately 159 million euros, excluding VAT.

Euro-Asfalt d. o. o. Sarajevo served as the contractor, with supervision provided by Italy's IRD Engineering S. r. l. The project was supported by European partners, including the Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Free use of this highway section has been extended until September 20.
