Corrientes authorities search for missing rural school director

Authorities in Corrientes are conducting an intensive search for Nanci Estela Godoy, a 52-year-old substitute school director who has been missing since Wednesday, October 7. Godoy was last seen heading toward School No. 626 in the rural area of El Malezal, in the Esquina department.

The search operation involves specialized police units, including the Canine Division and the Drone Directorate, as well as rural police. The terrain is extremely difficult to navigate, requiring several hours of travel by vehicle, horse, or foot to reach the school located in the Cuarta Sección Malvinas.
