Corrientes municipality seeks to simplify commercial licensing

The Municipality of Corrientes has initiated a collaborative effort with the private sector to streamline and accelerate the commercial licensing process for businesses and entrepreneurs. During a working session involving municipal officials, council members, and representatives from the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Corrientes, authorities addressed the bureaucratic hurdles that often discourage formal business registration.

Jorge Suaid, the municipal Secretary of Finance, stated that the administration is working to transform internal circuits to make the process more user-friendly. The goal is to demystify administrative procedures, provide clearer information on requirements, and ensure that local businesses can comply with current ordinances more easily. This initiative, part of the administration led by Mayor Claudio Polich, aims to foster economic activity and job creation by reducing the perceived complexity of obtaining permits.
