Corrientes workers receive emergency medical training
Over 200 parking enforcement workers in Corrientes participated in intensive training for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED). The initiative, coordinated by the Municipalities' Health and Mobility and Citizen Security Secretariats, aims to improve early emergency response in public spaces.
The training included both theoretical instruction and practical exercises in resuscitation maneuvers. This program is part of a broader municipal strategy to create a cardioprotected corridor, which includes the installation of defibrillators along major avenues in coordination with the Rotary Club Corrientes Sur. The city plans to extend this training to other public service agents, including transit officers and urban guards.
