Corumbá, Brazil Chosen for International Smart Tourism Management Project

Corumbá in Brazil has been selected to join the Digital Twin line of work of the Ibero‑American Network of Intelligent Tourist Destinations (RIDTI). The municipality will implement a digital tourism inventory and develop an exclusive online portal as part of the Knowledge Management Platform DTI for RIDTI. It has also entered the DTI self‑diagnosis phase, which will assess its readiness to become a certified Intelligent Tourist Destination. The initiative aims to improve tourism planning, enhance visitor experience, strengthen sustainability practices and enable data‑driven decision‑making. Participation places Corumbá among a group of Ibero‑American destinations receiving smart‑tourism solutions and supports the city’s broader digital transformation and sustainable tourism strategy.
