Corvette Grand Sport Hits 300,000 Miles and Showcases New 6.7L LS6 Engine Performance

The 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport was modified by Callaway into the SC606 supercharged model. Retaining its original LS3 V8, the car accumulated more than 300,000 miles while serving as a research and development vehicle before being sold to a private owner in 2020. The owner kept the car in excellent condition, demonstrating the durability of Callaway’s engineering.

Paragon Performance’s early dyno evaluation of the upcoming 2026 (2027 model year) Corvette Grand Sport reveals a new 6.7‑liter LS6 V8 with dual‑injection. After break‑in, the engine produced a corrected peak of roughly 473‑480 horsepower and 470‑480 lb‑ft of torque, offering a broader low‑ and mid‑range torque curve compared with the current Stingray and Z06. The LS6’s larger displacement, high compression ratio, and dual‑fuel injection are intended to meet stricter emissions standards while delivering stronger acceleration.
