Cosenza Mayor advocates for new Hub hospital in Vaglio Lise

The Mayor of Cosenza, Franz Caruso, has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the new second-level Hub hospital is constructed in the Vaglio Lise area. Caruso emphasized that the project is essential for serving the entire province and is a decisive factor for the future development of the capital city.

To support this position, the administration has engaged in institutional dialogue, including an extraordinary open city council meeting involving social representatives, healthcare workers, and citizens. The Mayor also noted that the city has utilized legal channels, such as appeals to the TAR, and public demonstrations to advocate for the hospital's location, asserting that Cosenza must not be deprived of its Hub status.
