Cosenza proposal targets Vaglio Lise for new congress center

A proposal has been introduced to develop a large exhibition and congress center in Vaglio Lise to boost the economic attractiveness of Cosenza. Francesco Napoli, president of Confapi Cosenza, identified the area as a strategic location for infrastructure that could stimulate tourism, commerce, and mobility.

Franco Pichierri has expressed support for the initiative, suggesting that the project for the convention center should be treated as a separate development from the new hospital project. He emphasized the need for comprehensive urban planning to avoid past missed opportunities and to leverage the territory's potential for business events and entrepreneurship.
