Cosenza transitions local public transport management

In Cosenza, local public transport management has transitioned from Amaco to the CO. ME. TRA. Consortium. Mayor Franz Caruso stated that the change follows a collaborative effort between the municipal administration, the new consortium, and the Calabria Region to ensure essential services and protect existing employment levels.

While a temporary reduction in bus runs may cause initial service disruptions, officials expect a gradual restoration of regularity. The service is slated for enhancement in the coming weeks through an increase in the bus fleet to reach full operational capacity.
