Cosmobilis and Park Square Capital Acquire Commercial Rights to FIA WRC and ERC

French automotive technology platform Cosmobilis and private‑credit investor Park Square Capital have completed the acquisition of the commercial rights to the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) and FIA European Rally Championship (ERC). The deal, described by the FIA as the largest commercial agreement in the history of the two series, follows the purchase of Munich‑based WRC Promoter GmbH.

Eric Boullier, former Formula One team principal, has been appointed chief executive of the newly owned promoter and will lead efforts to expand the championships’ global audience, enhance fan engagement and align the series with emerging technological and environmental priorities. The owners intend to invest through a newly created FIA Growth Fund to support grassroots to elite levels, while the championships prepare for new technical regulations slated for 2027.
