Cosmos Pharmacy adds three new stores in Osaka, Japan

Cosmos Pharmacy announced plans to open three new "Drug Cosmos" locations in Osaka Prefecture by February 2027. The stores – Nozomino in Izumi City (1,409 m²), Saka Takao in Sakai City (1,362 m²) and Hatta‑Nishimachi also in Sakai (1,147 m²) – will each feature extensive parking and bicycle facilities and operate from 9:00 to around 21:00.

The openings are part of a broader expansion strategy that targets 120 new outlets nationwide by the end of the current fiscal year, with 60 stores each slated for eastern and western Japan. Recent moves include a launch in Fukushima in June and a planned store in Nagano later this year, aiming to cover 41 prefectures across the country.
