Costa Rica to host corporate governance and AI summit

The Corporate Governance Institute of Costa Rica (IGCCR) has announced its Annual Corporate Governance Congress, scheduled for October 2 at the Radisson Hotel in San José. The event, themed ‘Governance with Purpose: Value Creation in a Transforming Environment’, aims to address challenges posed by technological disruption and shifting economic paradigms.

The summit will convene board members, senior executives, regulatory authorities, and legal and financial specialists from both national and international sectors. Discussions will focus on modern leadership structures, decision-making processes, and the integration of artificial intelligence within corporate frameworks.

As Costa Rica aligns its corporate governance standards with OECD guidelines, experts note that establishing robust compliance frameworks has become a vital strategic asset for both local enterprises and multinational firms to mitigate legal risks and maintain investor trust.
