Costco expands Uber Eats delivery to 47 US states
Costco has significantly expanded its delivery capabilities in the United States, making its full warehouse assortment available via Uber Eats across 47 states. This expansion covers nearly 600 markets, growing from a previous limit of 17 states.
To facilitate the service, customers can order using their Costco membership numbers through the Uber Eats app, with options for both immediate and scheduled deliveries. The partnership includes integrated membership benefits, such as discounted Uber One subscriptions for Costco members. While the Uber Eats expansion is substantial, Costco continues to utilize other partners like Instacart and DoorDash to maintain a diversified delivery strategy.
Despite the expanded availability, certain items remain excluded from delivery services. Specifically, Costco’s signature food court items, such as its popular hot dog combos, are not available through Uber Eats or DoorDash and must be purchased in-person at warehouse locations.
