Costco launches Marshmallow Crispy Cookies and Vanilla Cookie Crunch Sundae
Costco has added two new treats to its lineup. The retailer's Kirkland Signature brand introduced the Marshmallow Crispy Cookie, a brown‑butter dough cookie studded with crispy rice pieces and baked‑in marshmallow bits. The product comes in a 24‑count, 36‑oz clamshell and is priced at $9.99, offering a low‑cost bakery‑style snack.
Separately, Costco’s food court began serving a Vanilla Cookie Crunch Sundae on July 26. The dessert layers vanilla soft‑serve ice cream with chocolate syrup and crumbled chocolate cookies that resemble Oreos, and is sold for $2.99. Shoppers have praised its flavor but some fear it may replace the popular Strawberry Shortcake Sundae.
Both items reflect Costco’s strategy of expanding affordable, indulgent food options for its members.
