Covid-19 indicators rise across France

Covid-19 indicators are rising across France, according to data from Santé Publique France. Monitoring of wastewater treatment plants shows virus concentrations have reached levels similar to those observed in March.

Medical networks, including Sentinelles and SOS Médecins, report an increase in consultations for suspected Covid-19 among individuals over the age of 15. Emergency room visits related to the virus doubled during the week of August 31 to September 6 compared to the previous week. While all regions are affected, tourist areas such as Brittany and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur appear to have seen the rise earlier.
