Overview

By mid-September, medical networks reported increased consultations for individuals over age 15, and emergency room visits related to the virus doubled during the week of August 31 to September 6 compared to the preceding week. While the rise affected all regions, tourist areas like Brittany and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur appeared to experience the increase earlier.
