Crans-Montana bar fire injures several people on New Year's Eve

A fire broke out at the ‘Le Constellation’ bar in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana during New Year's Eve celebrations. The incident resulted in several injuries among those celebrating in the venue.

Umberto Marcucci, an Italian man vacationing in the area, was among the first to assist. He located his 16-year-old son, Manfredi, who had suffered burns to his back, neck, and arms. Marcucci also assisted two other victims—a Swiss boy and an Italian girl—who were more severely injured, transporting all three to a hospital in Sion.

The fire occurred while a group of teenagers was gathered in a small room within the establishment.
