Crazy Taxi: World Tour Closed Network Test Set for September with New West Coast Trailer
SEGA has opened applications for a Closed Network Test of its upcoming title Crazy Taxi: World Tour, with the signup period ending on August 31, 2026. Selected players will be able to try the multiplayer component from 21:00 BRST on September 11, 2026 until 21:00 BRST on September 13, 2026 (September 12 00:00‑September 14 00:00 UTC). The test focuses on two online modes – Pickup Race, where up to six drivers compete to deliver the most passengers and earn the highest fare, and Cops ’N’ Cabbies, a team‑vs‑team match of three‑player squads. Participants can use four characters, six customizable cars, and play on two maps, including a newly revealed West Coast map that features real‑world storefronts such as IHOP and Amoeba Music. Cross‑play is enabled across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, PlayStation 5 and Steam. The full game is slated for release in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2 and PC.
