SEGA Announces Closed Network Test for Crazy Taxi: World Tour
SEGA has announced a closed network test for its upcoming open‑world multiplayer title Crazy Taxi: World Tour. The test will run in September 2026, with the main window from 12 September to 14 September, and registration open until 31 August 2026.
Participants will be able to try two online multiplayer modes: Pickup Race, where up to six drivers compete to deliver the most passengers and earn the most money, and Cops ‘N’ Cabbies, a team‑based mode that pits two squads of three players against each other. The test supports cross‑play on Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Steam, and will feature two maps, four characters and six tunable vehicles.
A new trailer released alongside the announcement showcases the West Coast map, which includes real‑world storefronts such as IHOP and Amoeba Music. Crazy Taxi: World Tour is slated for full release in 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
