Crazy Taxi: World Tour features Germany map in gamescom preview

Hands-on previews of Crazy Taxi: World Tour at gamescom have showcased a new Germany-themed map. The gameplay retains classic arcade mechanics such as the ‘Crazy Dash’, ‘Crazy Drift’, and ‘Crazy Stop’, set within an open-world environment.

The German map features diverse locations including an airport, cities, walled old towns, mountain passes, and the Autobahn. Players can engage in various activities, such as navigating through bratwurst stands and interacting with elements like a waste separation system in specific missions.

Unlike previous entries, the game features an open-world approach where the traditional ‘Game Over’ screen is absent when a timer runs out; instead, players can continue driving through the world to find new challenges or missions. The narrative follows the protagonist Axel as he attempts to recover his stolen taxi.
