Córdoba completes major upgrades to Corredor Maipú corridor
The municipal government of Córdoba inaugurated the complementary works on the Corredor Maipú, a key urban mobility axis, on the city’s 453rd anniversary. The project added a segregated bike lane on the Maipú bridge, fully renovated sidewalks, new metal railings, LED lighting on bridges and riverbanks, accessibility ramps and a new sidewalk on Costanera Norte.
These interventions improve safety, accessibility and connectivity between the southern and northern districts, linking landmarks such as Plaza España, the University City, Parque Las Heras‑Elisa and the municipal council, and aim to make the corridor more attractive for residents and tourists.
