Córdoba Implements New Controlled Parking Zones in Forja on August 1

The Municipality of Córdoba announced that on Saturday, 1 August, controlled‑parking zones will be activated in the Forja neighbourhood. The changes will be in force from 21:00 to 07:00, covering designated polygons that include the area around the Super Deportivo and are managed by the cooperative MTN.

Parking in the specified streets will be charged at AR$2,250 per hour – the price of a litre of premium YPF gasoline – and can only be paid through the official digital system via QR codes or the SEMM mobile app for Android and iOS. Cash payments are prohibited. The municipal traffic police, together with the urban guard and provincial police, will conduct a vehicle‑ordering operation to ensure compliance and to address any extortion or illegal charges, with reports to be made to 911.
