Córdoba launches 2026 Cycling Tourism Month and hosts city bike ride
The Municipality of Córdoba will hold a themed bike ride on Saturday, 13 June, covering about 14 km through historic city squares and ending at the site of the city’s tallest Argentine flag. The event, part of the official Flag Month agenda, is open to adults and supervised youths, requires 26‑inch bicycles and helmets, and will register participants online.
In the province’s interior, the town of La Cumbre hosted the official launch of the 2026 Cycling Tourism Month. Agency head Darío Capitani, mayor Pablo Alicio and representatives from the Desafío al Valle del Río Pinto mountain‑bike competition introduced a series of sporting, recreational and tourist activities scheduled for June. The launch highlighted inclusive initiatives such as adapted bicycles for people with disabilities and underscored Córdoba’s growing reputation as a premier cycling‑tourism destination.
Both events aim to promote cycling as a tool for recreation, wellbeing and regional tourism, linking urban and rural routes across the province.
