Córdoba (Argentina) expands civic services with night offices, bike parade and event parking fees
The municipality of Córdoba (Argentina) held a new edition of the “Noche de los CPC” on 13 June, extending office hours from 17:00 to 21:00 at 17 community centres and offering a Saturday morning session (08:00‑14:00) at five selected centres to improve access to municipal services.
On the same day the city organised a themed “Bicicleteada Urbana” – “Junio, Mes de la Bandera” – a 14‑km bike ride that started at the BiciCBA station in Parque Sarmiento and passed through historic and patriotic sites, promoting physical activity and sustainable mobility.
Córdoba also launched a measured‑parking system around Forja Centro de Eventos and other high‑attendance venues. Fees are set at the price of a litre of premium fuel per hour for cars (≈ ARS 2 250) and 25 % of that for motorcycles, payable via QR‑code apps, to regulate traffic during large events.
