Córdoba police arrest grandmother and grandson for drug trafficking

Authorities in Córdoba, Argentina, arrested a 58-year-old woman and her 16-year-old grandson following a narcotics investigation. The Fuerza Policial Antinarcotráfico (FPA) conducted four raids in the Las Flores II neighborhood after receiving an anonymous tip.

During the operations, police seized 137 doses of cocaine, 42 doses of marijuana, and 289,000 pesos in cash. According to the Ministerio Público Fiscal de Córdoba, two of the raided properties served as drug sales points, while the other two were used for storage. The teenager reportedly attempted to flee during the raid but was apprehended. The grandmother was already serving house arrest for a previous narcotics-related offense.

The Anti-Narcotics Prosecution Office is overseeing the case, and the suspects remain in custody.
