Córdoba tourists tour La Rioja via Previaje Riojano program

Thirty tourists from Córdoba arrived in La Rioja during the long winter weekend, becoming the first group to exchange Chachos through the Previaje Riojano programme. The Arauco department welcomed them with a basket of regional products. During their stay they visited attractions such as the Dinosaur Park, the 400‑year‑old olive tree, the Olive Trail, the Santa Teresita hot springs, Cola de la Novia, the Castillo de Dionisio and the Señor de la Peña, using Chachos for various services.

Tourism director Nicolás Chumbita said, “We are very happy to receive these tourists who chose Arauco and La Rioja for their holidays. The Previaje Riojano is a great opportunity because it lets them access different offers, use Chachos in participating shops and live more experiences in our destinations.” The visitors praised the hospitality and said the programme allowed them to see more places and enjoy their stay. The initiative aims to boost both individual and group tourism, generating activity for local merchants and service providers across the province.
