Cremona environmental groups organize cycling tour to protect local countryside

Environmental associations and committees in the Cremona region have organized a collective cycling event titled “Grand Tour” to highlight the state of the local countryside. Scheduled for September 26, the tour aims to raise awareness about environmental degradation and the need for restoration rather than new heavy industrial settlements that could impact community life.

The itinerary includes several stages starting from Cremona and passing through Spinadesco, Crotta d'Adda, Grumello, Casanova del Morbasco, and Picenengo. The initiative is preceded by an open assembly on September 25 in Piazza Roma to foster networking among local committees and discuss strategies to protect the territory in accordance with Article 9 of the Italian Constitution.
