Cremona devastated by supercell storm and tornado
A violent supercell storm and tornado-like wind phenomenon struck Cremona and parts of the Lombardy region on August 28, 2026, causing widespread destruction. The storm, characterized by intense rotating winds and massive hailstones, damaged approximately 10,000 vehicles and injured 43 people.
