Crevi Auto clients protest alleged vehicle financing fraud in Tampico

At least 14 clients of the finance company Crevi Auto in Tampico, Tamaulipas, have accused the firm of irregularities regarding vehicle credit agreements. Affected individuals report that they paid down payments and monthly installments for vehicles but never received the cars.

Protesters have gathered at the company’s offices on Avenida Hidalgo to demand the return of their funds. One victim, Lorena Hernández González, reported paying an 18,000 peso down payment for a Nissan Versa 2026, only to receive no updates on her application despite being told to continue making monthly payments.

While some clients claim the company returned down payments to a small group of individuals recently, others report that promised refunds scheduled for Tuesday morning failed to materialize. The protesters stated they intend to remain at the site to pressure the company for a resolution.
