Crevillent Council Approves €2.5 Million Budget Modification for Infrastructure Projects

The Crevillent City Council unanimously approved a €2,486,408.49 credit modification funded entirely from its cash reserves. The extra funding will support a range of municipal upgrades, including a €235,000 supplement for the municipal swimming pool, €36,300 for a new restroom and storage building at the “Juanfran Torres” Football City, and €30,000 to purchase a crane for municipal works. Additional allocations cover €450,000 for new cemetery niches, €400,000 for urbanising the Rincón de los Pablos area, €300,000 for air‑conditioning in the Municipal Culture House, €150,000 for water‑supply network repairs in Llobera, €90,000 for pump works on the R‑10 of El Pinar, and €60,000 for road maintenance. Smaller items fund urban beautification, youth programme expansion, and the drafting of equality plans. The session also elected José Policarpo Ramón Penalva as Crevillent’s new judge of peace and accepted a delegation change for the CEIP Francisco Candela school improvement project.
