Mexico arrests La Línea leader Sergio “N” in Chihuahua

Mexican federal forces, including the Army and National Guard, arrested Sergio “N”, alias “El Señor de la A”, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua. Authorities identify him as a regional leader for the La Línea criminal organization, which is linked to the Nuevo Cártel de Juárez.

The arrest resulted from military intelligence and information exchange with U.S. agencies. Sergio “N” allegedly coordinated drug trafficking and human smuggling routes toward the United States. He reportedly operated under the direct orders of his son, Sergio Pedro “N”, alias “Checo”, a regional commander for the group.

Sergio “N” faces a provisional detention order for extradition to the United States on narcotics charges. Following his capture, he was transported via a Mexican Air Force aircraft to Mexico City to appear before a federal judge. Another unidentified individual was also detained during the operation and placed at the disposal of the Fiscalía General de la República in Chihuahua.
