Crimson Desert adds cross‑save feature in 1.14 update

Pearl Abyss released patch 1.14.00 for the open‑world action‑adventure game Crimson Desert on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and the Epic Games Store. The update introduces a cross‑save system that lets players link a Pearl Abyss ID and carry a single save file across consoles and PC.

The patch also addresses numerous bugs: it fixes the quest “A Dwarf’s Concern” that could not be completed, resolves character‑control issues when a pet jumps onto a bed, aligns the input for Damiane’s “Skystep” with Oongka’s vertical flight, and stops the “Power Palm: Jump” ability from being interrupted during free fall. Additional fixes improve localization, correct unnatural mount animations at high speed, restore missing sound effects after battles with Praevus the Ancient and Ator’s Orb, and allow NPCs to pass through open wooden gates.

Separately, Crimson Desert was awarded the Best Technical Innovation prize at the Develop:Star Awards, recognizing Pearl Abyss’s BlackSpace Engine for its contribution to game technology.
