Pearl Abyss released Update 1.12.00 for Crimson Desert, introducing a major overhaul of Kliff’s house with 58 new decorative items, outdoor area furnishing, a workbench and loom for crafting, new armor pieces, helmets, attack combos and the ability for characters to ride the dragon Blackstar. The update also adds new equipment for Damiane and Oongka and retains battle settings after death.

A subsequent hotfix (Update 1.000.358, version 1.12.02) addresses stability problems, fixing crashes that occurred in Photo Mode when using 1080p resolution on AMD RX 5000‑series GPUs or when toggling HDR off. Additional bug fixes are listed, and the developers note several known issues that remain under investigation.
