Crimson Desert and Borderlands 4 receive major content updates
Pearl Abyss expanded the open‑world action RPG Crimson Desert with its 1.12 update, adding outdoor decoration tools, two new crafting stations, 58 new decorative items (including fountains, totems and street lamps), new armor pieces and character abilities, as well as performance fixes and a plan for upcoming DLC.
Gearbox announced a series of patches for Borderlands 4 throughout mid‑2024, beginning with version 1.8 on 25 June. The update introduces a new high‑difficulty area, new minibosses, legendary weapons and a cross‑platform save transfer feature. Subsequent paid packs (Bounty Pack 3‑5, Vault Cards and Story Pack 2) will add new bosses, vehicles, a new playable character (Loveless the Hacker), and an additional zone, with prices ranging from $5.99 to $19.99.
