Cristian ‘Pity’ Álvarez trial resumes in Buenos Aires

The criminal trial against musician Cristian ‘Pity’ Álvarez is set to resume in Buenos Aires. Álvarez is accused of the 2018 killing of Cristian Díaz.

The previous hearing was suspended after the artist suffered a health emergency, involving a spike in blood pressure and high glucose levels. He was transported to Hospital Fernández, where he later received a voluntary discharge.

Defense attorney Sebastián Queijeiro noted that Álvarez suffers from consumption problems and is currently being assisted by his sister. The hearing is scheduled to reconvene at the Tribunal Oral en lo Criminal y Correccional Nº 29, with the musician expected to be present.
