Croatia coach Josip Šutalo reviews Panama defeat, urges focus and teamwork

Josip Šutalo analysed Croatia’s loss to Panama, noting the opponents’ reliance on long balls and centre‑shots and stressing the need for concentration and a collective effort. He highlighted the team’s recent achievements, including his own debut in June 2022, a World Cup bronze medal in Qatar and a runners‑up finish in the Nations League, and said the squad must build on those experiences. Šutalo also praised captain Luka Modrić, who will mark his 200th appearance for Croatia, and emphasized the importance of individual initiative within the group.
