Croatia expands cultural and technological tourism offerings

Croatia is seeing new developments in cultural and technological tourism. In Požega, the city is revitalizing its historic center by opening municipal spaces to artists. Academic sculptor Mladen Šimunović has returned to his hometown to establish a workspace and teaching studio, which will function alongside the City Museum to offer exhibitions and educational programs.

In Zagreb, a new immersive destination called Wandia has opened near European Square. Spanning over 600 square meters, the facility uses virtual reality (VR) and interactive storytelling to allow visitors to participate in digital adventures. Developed by entrepreneurs Maja Jelisić Cooper and Jonathan Cooper, the center features experiences such as ‘Evolution of Life’ and ‘Land of the Pharaohs’.
