Croatia hosts transportation events in Crikvenica and Pag

In Croatia, two significant transportation-related events recently took place. In Crikvenica, the Association of County Road Administrations of the Republic of Croatia celebrated its 20th anniversary. The gathering brought together road administration directors, state and local officials, and transport sector partners to discuss the future of road networks. Discussions highlighted the need for infrastructure to adapt to new technological challenges, such as heavier and technologically different vehicles.

Meanwhile, the fifth National Cycling Conference was held in Pag. Organized by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, the event focused on cycling safety, infrastructure development, and the expansion of cyclotourism. Experts and representatives from across the region discussed sustainable mobility and the implementation of the National Cycling Traffic Development Plan to improve conditions for cyclists and promote the area as a tourism destination.
