Croatia marks European Justice Day with student engagement and open houses
The Croatian Ministry of Justice, Administration, and Digital Transformation marked European Justice Day through a series of events aimed at increasing public awareness and engaging the younger generation with the legal system.
Approximately 70 law students from various institutions, including the Universities of Rijeka and Zagreb, the Croatian Catholic University, and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin, met with Minister Damir Habijan. The discussions focused on professional development, digital transformation, and the application of artificial intelligence within the judiciary.
To promote transparency and trust in judicial institutions, 51 out of 67 courts in Croatia organized open house days. These activities allowed citizens and students to tour court premises, learn about judicial structures, and interact with judges and other judicial officials.
