Croatia names lineup for England showdown

Coach Zlatko Dalić has announced a 3‑4‑2‑1 formation for Croatia's Euro 2024 match against England. Dominik Livaković will guard the goal, with a back three of Josip Šutalo, Luka Vušković and Joško Gvardiol. Wing‑backs Josip Stanišić and Ivan Perišić will provide width.

In midfield, Luka Modrić is set to lead, and Mateo Kovačić, who was heavily considered, is expected to start alongside him. Ahead of the midfield duo, attacking midfielders Petar Sučić and Martin Baturina have earned starting spots. Up front, Petar Musa is slated to lead the line, with the possibility of Andrej Kramarić on the right wing.

The selections were based on observations from the Croatian camp in Alexandria and the team's recent friendlies against Brazil, Belgium and Colombia.
