Croatia opens bids for Rudine – Slano motorway section
Bids have been opened for the construction of the 9.0 km Rudine – Slano sub-section of the A1 motorway, part of the planned highway connection to Dubrovnik. Seven companies submitted tenders for the project.
The lowest bid was submitted by a consortium of TEXO MOLIOR D. O. O. and EURO-ASFALT d. o. o. at €258,989,275.10. Other bidders included China Road and Bridge Corporation, Afcons Infrastructure Limited, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, Ozaltin Insaat, Cengiz Insaat, and Strabag.
The route begins at the Rudine junction and extends to the Slano junction, passing through the Doli interregional junction. Due to the challenging terrain, the project includes significant structures such as the Katina tunnel (1,674 m). Following the evaluation of these bids, a decision will be made on the most economically advantageous offer. Construction will commence once the procurement process, necessary permits, and legal-property relations are finalized.
