Croatia political disputes emerge in Sinj and Zagreb
In Sinj, political opposition has criticized Mayor Miro Bulj for failing to fulfill campaign promises over his six-year term. Critics point to uncompleted projects such as the Mojanka sanitation, the Ćosin stream solution, and a promised pedestrian guide, while noting that the removal of a pedestrian crossing occurred instead. Additionally, concerns were raised regarding increased employment and operating costs at the waste management company, Čistoća Cetinske krajine.
In Zagreb, the Možemo! party is facing backlash over the use of public funds to finance a children's play titled ‘Boja odgoja’ (Color of Upbringing). Directed by Nora Krstulović, the performance addresses gender roles, equality, and stereotypes. Critics have accused the administration of using city resources to promote specific ideological views and indoctrinate children through cultural projects.
