Croatia political polls show HDZ and SDP declining

The August Crobarometar polling results reveal shifting political trends in Croatia. The ruling HDZ remains the leading party with 26.6% support, though it experienced a slight decline. The SDP follows in second place with 18.2%, continuing a downward trend. Conversely, the Možemo! party and Most are seeing growth, reaching 13.6% and 9.3% respectively.

Public sentiment regarding the country's direction is largely negative, with 62% of respondents believing Croatia is moving in the wrong direction. Major concerns cited by citizens include corruption, inflation, and rising prices.

In terms of individual politicians, President Zoran Milanović remains the most popular figure with 50% approval. In contrast, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and the government face lower approval ratings, with only about 30% of respondents supporting their work. The Croatian Parliament received the lowest institutional rating among surveyed state bodies.
