Croatia starts €252 million A7 highway segment with 11 viaducts and 8 tunnels
Croatia has signed a €252 million contract to build the 12.3 km Jadranovo‑Selce sub‑section of the A7 highway, part of the Križišće‑Žuta Lokva corridor. The project, described as one of the most technically demanding on the route, will include eleven viaducts, eight tunnels, and numerous bridges. A consortium led by Kolektor CPG and comprising Kolektor Koling, CGP, Gorenjska Gradbena Družba and Bosnia‑and‑Herzegovina’s Euro‑Asfalt will carry out the works, with 200‑300 engineers expected to be involved. President of Hrvatske autoceste Boris Huzjan signed the agreement, noting the complexity and the need for extensive expertise. The investment aims to improve connectivity between Primorsko‑goranska and Licko‑senjska counties, relieve traffic on the Jadranska magistrala, and support tourism and regional economic development. Funding comes entirely from Hrvatske autoceste, without EU funds, and the works are slated to be completed within 42 months.
