Croatian beauty professionals compete at international championships

The Croatian “Majstori ljepote” (Masters of Beauty) delegation, consisting of 11 elite hairdressers and cosmetologists, has traveled to Paris for the OMC Hairworld 2026 World Hairdressing Championship. Held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the competition features professionals from around the globe competing across eight categories. The team members were selected from winners of the Croatian Chamber of Crafts national championship.

In a separate achievement, Croatian hairdresser Ivana Horvatović won first place at the Nook International Day competition in Belgrade. Her winning presentation utilized a fashion creation from the Požega Vocational School. The theme, “Eco-Luxury and Sustainable Glam,” featured a hairstyle made of natural hair and plants, paired with a dress crafted from canvas, jute, and gold brocade by students from the Požega school.
