Croatian cities adjust public transport for All Saints' Day
Public transport providers in Split and Osijek are implementing special schedules and additional services to accommodate citizens visiting cemeteries for the All Saints' Day holiday.
In Split, the company Promet is introducing an extra bus line connecting HNK to the Lovrinac cemetery from October 30 to November 1. These buses will run every 30 minutes, with specific departure windows on Friday and increased frequency throughout the weekend. Several existing lines, including numbers 3, 3A, 6, 18, and 25, will also continue to serve the area near the cemetery.
In Osijek, the city and GPP have announced that public transport will be free for all lines on Sunday, November 1. To manage increased demand, extra bus lines will serve the Central Cemetery and Donjogradsko cemetery. On Saturday, October 31, additional services will also be deployed, including a line between Mačkamama and the Central Cemetery operating every 20 minutes during peak hours.
