European Mobility Week initiatives launched in Zagreb, Maribor, and Pula

Various cities in Croatia and Slovenia are participating in the European Mobility Week, an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable transport methods such as walking, cycling, and public transit.

In Maribor, Slovenia, the 25th anniversary of the event will take place under the slogan ‘Mobility for All’. The program includes activities for children and adults, professional meetings regarding the future of mobility, and initiatives like the ‘Walking Bus’ to encourage active commuting to school. Special attention is also being given to mobility for persons with disabilities.

In Croatia, Zagreb has presented its program for the upcoming week, featuring representatives from the city administration and the Zagreb Electric Tram (ZET). Pula is also joining the celebrations, while Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomašević has emphasized that increasing the use of bicycles and public transport helps reduce the number of cars on the road.
