Živinice police operation seizes drugs and weapons

Two men, 23-year-old Haris Karić from Živinice and 22-year-old Tarik Hasić from Kladnje, have been ordered into one-month detention by the Municipal Court in Živinice. They are suspected of the unauthorized production and sale of narcotics.

During a police raid on October 21, 2026, investigators searched two apartments and auxiliary buildings. Authorities seized over one kilogram of amphetamine and approximately 150 grams of marijuana prepared for sale, along with smaller quantities of drugs, a pistol, a digital scale, and five mobile phones.

During the operation, Karić sustained injuries after jumping from a third-floor window to avoid police, and was subsequently treated at the University Clinical Center Tuzla.
