Croatian hairdressers secure top five spots at World Championship in Paris

Croatian hairdressers achieved significant success at the OMC Hairworld 2026 World Hairdressing and Cosmetology Championship held in Paris on October 11 and 12.

Daniela Žderić from Metković secured fifth place globally in the Hollywood Glamour category, performing on live models. Additionally, the Croatian team consisting of Josipa Bobovec, Andrijana Žoldin, and Pavle Matešić earned fifth place in the Gents Fashion Cup team ranking.

Jelena Ivaniš, Vice President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, noted that these results demonstrate that Croatian professionals can compete equally with the world's best, highlighting the dedication and skill within the country's craft sector.
